Recurring payments provide a convenient and efficient way to
pay. There's no danger of your subscription being interrupted or of you missing
any issues as payments are deducted automatically at regular intervals; you
avoid the hassle of writing out cheques and credit card forms; and if you ever
decide you don't want to keep getting The Oldie just let us know - we'll refund
the value of all of the unmailed issues you have remaining and cancel your
subscription.
The Oldie is published every 4 weeks, not every month. There
are therefore 13 issues published in a year. Subscriptions are typically sold
on a 3, 6 or 12 issue-basis.
Recurring card payments (e.g. continuous credit card,
recurring PayPal, Apple Pay) are taken every 3, 6 or 12 issues (approx. 12, 24
or 48 weeks), depending on the term/offer you have signed up for. We will take the payment for your next term
when there are zero issues remaining from the previous payment.
Direct Debits are taken on a calendar (i.e. monthly, six
monthly, etc). For example, a 12-issue subscription will be taken every 11
months (approx. 48 weeks).
If there are any
changes to the amount, date or frequency of your payment, we will notify
you at least 3 working days in advance of your account being debited.
